Captain Allen is a licensed marine captain boasting over two decades of experience fishing and navigating the beautiful ocean waters around the Florida Keys. Based in Little Torch Key in the Lower Keys, he offers access to truly remarkable local fisheries known for a diverse selection of delicious and exciting fish to catch. In addition, Allen holds certifications as a BLS/CPR and Advanced Cardiac Life Support instructor, qualified to re-certify captains, nurses, and doctors in CPR.
We enjoyed an outstanding day on the water with Allen! We arranged a combined lobstering and snorkeling trip during the final weekend of lobster season, which raised concerns about the availability of lobsters. Generously, Allen offered to include fishing at no extra charge, a thoughtful gesture that enriched the experience. Throughout the day, we caught multiple snapper and even a few lobsters that met the legal size for keeping. We would definitely book another trip with him!
Spiny lobster fishing with Allen was an unforgettable adventure. Our group spent around three hours snorkeling in roughly four to five feet of water, moving between three locations in search of larger lobsters toward the season's end. While we caught many lobsters, only two were legally large enough to keep. Despite this, the day was fantastic! Allen expertly guided us to prime lobster spots, making it a must-do excursion. His knowledge and assistance significantly exceeded our expectations and created lasting memories. We are eager to return!

You can cancel your booking free of charge if done at least three days prior to the trip and the amount will be credited back to your account. If you cancel within three days of the trip, your deposit will be non-refundable and retained by the guide. Cancellations made on the day of the trip or if you do not show up will result in the full trip cost being charged to your payment method.
