I operate my 26-foot Mako Marine boat from Big Pine Key and Little Torch Key, comfortably accommodating up to four guests, with a maximum of six. I have a genuine passion for spearfishing and lobstering, as well as the joy of harvesting fresh seafood straight from the water. Recently, my wife, our 13-year-old son, and I went on a six-hour spearfishing adventure with Torre that was the highlight of our entire Keys vacation. We returned with a cooler full of lobster, snapper, cero mackerel, and yellow jack, which we then transformed into delicious sashimi, ceviche, lobster macaroni, and beer-battered fish. During the trip, we encountered hammerhead sharks, massive goliath groupers, and graceful sea turtles. Neither my wife nor I had spearfished before, but we had an incredible time – far more enjoyable than traditional fishing. Despite the rainy weather, we had a wonderful trip with a positive attitude all around. This was our first spearfishing experience, and Torre was very accommodating and knowledgeable. You can cancel without any charges up to 14 days prior to your scheduled trip, and your account will be credited accordingly. If you cancel less than 14 days before the trip, your deposit will be non-refundable and kept by the guide. Cancellations made on the day of the trip or failure to show up will result in the full trip cost being charged to your card.
We provide all rods, reels, and tackle for your convenience. However, we suggest bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and any personal gear you'd like to use during the trip.
