Our very first gigging trip was an absolute joy for everyone, ranging in age from 10 to 78 years old! Although we didn’t catch many flounder, the excitement of gigging fish and crabs was unforgettable. During a 10-hour offshore game fishing trip, we noticed some confusion about the trip’s focus, which initially seemed centered on snapper fishing rather than big game. After speaking with management, it was confirmed we would pursue big game fish. However, the fishing location and setup suggested otherwise, with gear suitable for snapper and limited live bait available. Although the sharks we hooked escaped due to inadequate equipment, Captain Matt appeared to thoroughly enjoy the snapper fishing experience. While this was not the type of fishing we expected, we appreciated the effort.

You can cancel your booking without any fees if done at least 10 days prior to your trip and you will get a credit issued to your account. If you cancel within 10 days before the trip, your deposit will be retained by the guide. Cancelling on the day of the trip or failing to show up will result in charging the full trip amount to your payment method.

The 32' Twin Vee is expertly designed to glide smoothly through waves, ensuring a comfortable ride as you head out to your fishing destination.
This excursion focuses on targeting Bull Reds, Sharks, and Spanish Mackerel. From October to May, trips typically venture a few miles offshore to find the big bull reds. Depending on the conditions, these fish can also be located near the beachfront and jetty areas.
If you need accommodations before or after your fishing trip, Capt Leaf offers lodging at his place for an additional fee. Just mention this request when you book.
