Captain Chris brings a lifetime of fishing experience, from freshwater adventures in Ohio's Great Lakes to saltwater excursions in the Gulf of Mexico. His fishing journey began with lessons from his father and grandfather back in Ohio, where he developed his skills in freshwater fishing. After relocating to Brownsville, he discovered his passion for saltwater fishing, which quickly became his favorite pastime. Beyond techniques, Chris inherited a deep love for the sport and a commitment to sharing that passion, inspiring others to enjoy fishing as much as he does.
Carrying forward the family tradition, Captain Chris has taught his three daughters and two grandchildren the art of fishing along with the importance of conservation. His lifelong ambition was to become a fishing guide, a goal he proudly realized. Bringing people to the best fishing spots and witnessing the excitement of landing either their first or their hundredth catch remains his greatest reward.

You can cancel without any charges if you do so at least 7 days prior to your scheduled trip, and the amount will be refunded to your account. If you cancel within a week leading up to the trip, your deposit will be retained by the guide. Cancelling on the day of the trip or failing to show up will result in the full trip cost being charged to your payment method.
All individuals aged 17 and older are REQUIRED to possess a valid Texas Fishing License for either Saltwater or All-water fishing.
Daily Medications: If your medication schedule requires multiple doses throughout the day, please remember to bring all necessary medications.
Motion Sickness Prevention: We recommend consulting your healthcare provider before using any motion sickness remedies. Although there are over-the-counter options available, it's important to discuss these with your doctor first.
Coolers: Bring a small cooler for your food and drinks. Please avoid bringing glass containers, red-colored foods, and absolutely no bananas. Additionally, bring a separate cooler for any fish you catch; we will filet and bag your fish for you.
Sun Protection: Make sure to bring sunscreen, hats that can be secured with ties around your neck, and sunglasses with straps to keep them secure. Long-sleeve fishing shirts, hand towels, and possible rain gear are also recommended. Cooling towels and a neck gaiter can provide extra comfort during the trip.
Enjoy the captivating sight of large ships navigating through the channel while fishing, and listen to the waves crashing against the rocky jetties. As we head to our fishing destination, keep an eye out for dolphins gracefully swimming in the bay. Our fishing grounds, including the bay and jetties, are conveniently just a 15-minute ride away.

We provide light to medium tackle so you can target a variety of species such as Redfish, Pompano (ocean fish), Sheepshead, Trout, Bull Reds, Spanish Mackerel, Black Drum, Flounder (seasonal), Shark, and Jack Crevalle.
