This charter was created following our participation in numerous fishing events aimed at giving underprivileged children, many of whom had never experienced being out on the water, a chance to fish. We also took part in events for fishing enthusiasts without access to boats and held tournaments across nine lakes in Central Texas, where anglers competed for bragging rights. The desire to provide people with the unforgettable feeling of catching a fish became our driving goal. Recently, my son and I enjoyed a guided fishing adventure with Derek, and we couldn’t be more pleased! Although our initial plan was to fish on Lake Austin, Derek suggested we try Lake Travis instead, which turned out to be an excellent decision. His deep knowledge of the lake and patient guidance with us beginners, combined with his great personality, led to a fantastic experience. Even on a cold day when the fish weren’t very active, Derek’s dedication ensured we explored multiple spots and caught fish throughout. We even almost landed an impressive 25-pound catfish that would have been a personal record! Overall, it was a fantastic day with an outstanding guide.
