Captain Tyler owns the entire charter fleet and personally captains the 46' Guthrie. Originally from Houston, TX, he has spent the last six years fishing in Costa Rica. His fleet includes three additional vessels: two operating out of Pez Vela Marina and one based in Herradura. Each captain in his team is a top-notch guide, fully licensed and insured.

Your trip begins in the evening between 6:00 and 10:00 PM as you depart the dock and head out overnight to the prime fishing areas. Rise early the next morning to fish intensively until sunset, then repeat the adventure the following day. This package offers three full days on the water, providing plenty of opportunities to break your fishing records—chances are you’ll beat your personal best by day three! By the last morning's breakfast, you’ll return to Quepos dock with unforgettable memories, fantastic photos, and likely some delicious fish to take home.
Fishing takes place aboard Captain Tyler’s 46-foot Guthrie sportfisher, the last wood-hulled boat constructed by Guthrie and considered one of the top fish-raising vessels available. Powered by a Detroit 8V92 engine, she cruises comfortably at 20 knots. The boat is equipped with a fully air-conditioned cabin, a full bathroom, kitchen facilities, and two staterooms. When the fish are biting, the vessel boasts advanced Garmin and Raymarine electronics, Rupp outriggers, tuna tubes, a live well, and the capability to tow double dredges.
