Once we were underway, Captain Mike quickly located the fish, and our group was soon reeling them in one after another. At the end of our adventure, he took care of cleaning and packaging all the fish we caught, so we could easily take them home. I highly recommend his charters to anyone looking for a fantastic fishing experience. Our whole group had an incredible time!
Throughout the week leading up to our trip, Captain Mike closely monitored weather conditions and stayed in contact with us. To avoid rough seas of 3-5 feet, we decided to reschedule the outing a day earlier. Despite the high fuel costs, he generously extended our time on the water by an hour. I personally caught 13 snapper, including two enormous bites that snapped my leader line, making for some truly thrilling moments. My friends also had a blast, landing around 10 catches between them. We’re already looking forward to booking another trip with Captain Mike soon!
You can cancel your reservation up to one day prior to your trip and get a credit applied to your account. If you cancel on the day of the trip or fail to show up, the full trip amount will be charged to your card.
Please bring snacks and drinks, weather-appropriate gear, sun protection, and a camera. Note: Spray sunscreen is not allowed. Rods, reels, tackle, bait, ice, and water are provided.

Embark on a fun-filled 4-hour fishing excursion, trolling and jigging through the water column in pursuit of King Mackerel and any passing Cobia. The adventure begins right from Saint Augustine aboard the 1984 Wellcraft Scarab, a 33-foot central console boat that underwent a complete restoration in 2020. Equipped with GPS, fishfinder technology, downriggers, and powered by two Honda engines, the vessel comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests per trip.
Families with children are wholeheartedly invited to join this exciting fishing journey. The charter includes the necessary Florida fishing license, along with all fishing equipment, lures, and live bait provided. Should you land a prized catch, Captain Mike is happy to assist with its preparation. Just bring your own snacks and drinks, and he will take care of everything else to make your trip unforgettable.
