About Your Guide

Captain Al brings over five decades of expertise in fishing and boating, beginning his journey with a single charter vessel. His boat is a new 25-foot Sea Hunt BR 25 BX bay boat, equipped with a 300 Yamaha engine, specifically built for both inshore and nearshore fishing adventures in Southwest Florida. This boat offers a perfect balance of versatility, safety, comfort, and dependability, ensuring an exceptional outing on the water.

A proud military veteran originally from Ohio, Captain Al has a lifelong passion for fishing and boating. Now based in Cape Coral, FL, he is a USCG-approved, licensed, and insured fishing guide specializing in inshore and nearshore species. With extensive experience in both freshwater and saltwater environments, Captain Al possesses the skills and knowledge necessary to help you catch fish and improve your angling techniques.

Captain Al embraces a family-friendly atmosphere, welcoming individuals of all ages and skill levels. Upon request, he is happy to document your fishing trip with photos, creating lasting memories you can treasure. If fishing isn’t your priority, Captain Al’s deep understanding of Southwest Florida’s waterways means he can also provide scenic tours. Explore hidden beaches and sandbars perfect for shelling and relaxing, while observing local wildlife such as dolphins, manatees, eagles, ospreys, and shorebirds.

Time spent on the waters of Southwest Florida is always rewarding, and a day fishing with Captain Al promises to be exceptional! Despite braving one of the chilliest days in January, Captain Al found sheltered spots teeming with activity. Our group caught redfish, snook, snapper, and sheepshead, thanks to his seasoned navigation and knowledge. Beyond his expertise, Captain Al’s calm demeanor, humor, and patience made the trip even more enjoyable.

The boat was immaculate, well-equipped, and comfortable — a safe and stable platform that handled choppy conditions with ease. Captain Al generously filleted our catch, ensuring we had an excellent meal waiting at home. It was truly an outstanding fishing experience, and we look forward to our next outing with him. Many thanks to Captain Al for an unforgettable day!
