Although I never actually met Captain Corbett or spoke with him directly, my original booking was with another captain. Due to a scheduling conflict, Captain Experiences reassigned me to Corbett. However, since Corbett had to leave the state unexpectedly, he arranged for another trusted captain and boat, not connected to Captain Experiences, to take us out. Despite the weather cutting our plans short, the captain and crew treated us to a half-day of nearshore fishing, which was still incredibly enjoyable. Because the change in captains and boats meant I didn’t have the opportunity to meet Corbett, I can’t give a full five-star rating, but I am still happy to rate it four stars. The alternative arrangement turned out great, and we now have a trusted boat and captain we plan to book again in the future.

However, Corbett had to leave town shortly before your scheduled day and asked a reliable colleague of his to guide you instead. You can cancel without any charges if you do so at least 14 days prior to your trip and the amount will be credited back to your account. If you cancel within 14 days of your trip, your deposit will be non-refundable and retained by the guide. Canceling on the day of the trip or failing to show up will result in the full trip cost being charged to your payment method.

Our 3/4 day trips typically keep us within 25 miles of the shore, targeting species like king mackerel, false albacore, and black seabass. Occasionally, we may also encounter grouper and mahi, though they are not always in range. The trips usually run from 6am to 2pm.
