In 2010, he earned his Captain’s License, and by 2014, he launched his own fishing charter business. He enjoys fishing for all types of species, though he specializes in bottom fishing, targeting grouper and snapper. Captain Stewart’s primary focus is ensuring that every group has a fun and unforgettable experience that keeps them coming back. He finds great joy in witnessing children land their first catch, describing it as a truly special moment. Professionalism is always a top priority for him.

In the winter months, he provides duck hunting guide services, while in the spring, summer, and fall, he offers fishing charters in Morehead City and Atlantic Beach. You can cancel your reservation without any charges if done at least 14 days before your scheduled trip, and you will get a credit applied to your account. If you cancel less than 14 days before the trip, your deposit will be non-refundable and paid to the guide. Cancellations on the day of the trip or missed trips will result in the full trip cost being charged to your payment method.
All rods, reels, and tackle are provided. However, we suggest you bring sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and any personal gear you wish to use during the trip.
We will depart from the dock at 6:00 am, with an estimated travel time of around 2 hours before beginning our fishing activities. Typically, we fish 20-30 miles offshore in waters ranging from 80 to 130 feet deep. Our fishing spots are primarily natural rock formations and ledges, ideal for bottom fishing. The tackle used is specially designed for serious bottom fishing techniques. After the trip, a fish cleaning service is available for a nominal fee of $0.60 per pound.
