Hi, I’m Captain Kyle, and I’ll be your personal guide and companion on the fishing adventures you book with me. I prefer to handle things myself and usually don’t bring along a crew or co-captain unless specifically asked. Years ago, after moving to Pine Island, I gained valuable experience working on a commercial Grouper boat based out of Fort Myers Beach. I fished alongside Capt Jack, one of the early pioneers in the local commercial fishing scene. We’d prepare the 40-foot trawler with ice, bait, and all the necessary equipment before heading out, sometimes spending several days at sea. Our mission was always to catch thousands of pounds of fish for the market. Commercial fishing was tough but rewarding, leaving me with many unforgettable stories.
Now that I have a family, my priorities have shifted, and spending extended time on the water isn’t as feasible. However, my passion for fishing and seeing others enjoy it made becoming a charter guide a natural next step. Thanks to my background in commercial fishing, I’ve accumulated a wealth of knowledge about the local waters and hidden spots in the Gulf. Beyond that, I devote personal time to fishing in places like the Bahamas, Key West, Venice Louisiana, Florida’s east coast, and the Dominican Republic, chasing all sorts of fish.
I’ve been fortunate to catch nearly every type of fish on many anglers' bucket lists and now focus on targeting the bigger, more challenging ones for my own goals. When people ask why I became a charter guide, my answer is simple: I genuinely love sharing my fishing expertise. The greatest reward is seeing the excitement when someone lands a trophy fish—it’s a memory that lasts a lifetime!

You can cancel at no cost if you do so at least 7 days prior to your scheduled trip and the amount will be credited back to your account. If you cancel within the 7-day window before the trip, your deposit will be retained by the guide. Cancellations on the day of the trip or failing to show up will result in the full trip amount being charged to your payment method.
I’ll take care of everything required for your fishing experience, including the fishing license—you won’t need to worry about obtaining one yourself. Additionally, I provide ice to keep your catch fresh. All you need to bring is a cooler stocked with your favorite drinks, meals, and snacks. Don’t forget to pack essentials for your comfort, such as sunscreen and a towel.
