You can cancel without any charges if you do so at least 30 days prior to your scheduled trip, and the amount will be credited back to your account. If you cancel less than 30 days before the trip, your deposit will be non-refundable and payable to the guide. In April, Yellowfin Tuna are the primary target. Known for their strong fight and tendency to travel in large schools, multiple lines often hook up simultaneously, making for an exciting day on the water. As May arrives, the species you pursue depends largely on water temperatures. When the waters remain cool, Yellowfin Tuna continue to dominate the catch. However, as temperatures climb, more Marlin and Dolphin start to appear. This is the time when anglers enjoy catching “gaffer” dolphins – larger fish so named because they require a gaff to bring them aboard. Limits of these sizable dolphins are common, providing plenty of fresh fish to take home.
Throughout both months, there is also the opportunity to pursue Wahoo and Blue Marlin on these extended day trips with Captain Mike.
