Ken truly stands out as a guide! He helped us catch plenty of fish and made the experience unforgettable. His expertise on the Columbia and Willamette Rivers is unmatched, and I am eager to book future trips with him. He even showed my son how to properly filet our catch, which made my son’s 18th birthday extra special!

His well-maintained gear and thorough safety instructions added to the confidence and comfort throughout the day. We landed a 20-inch, 15-pound silver salmon and will definitely be planning another trip soon, possibly to target springers!

Spend an exciting full day fishing for salmon and steelhead with Captain Ken on the beautiful Willamette River. This guided 8-hour trip begins at 6:30 AM and is ideal for families or small groups of up to four anglers. Your targets will include Chinook and Coho salmon, along with spirited steelhead and rainbow trout—some of the most sought-after species in the Pacific Northwest, celebrated for their fight and delicious flavor. Captain Ken employs a variety of effective river fishing methods such as trolling, bait drifting, and spinner fishing to keep your rods bending all day long.
You’ll fish from a fully outfitted 2023 Alumaweld boat powered by a Mercury 150 HP engine, featuring GPS, a fish finder, and a trolling motor to access the prime fishing spots. All necessary gear—including rods, reels, tackle, and bait—is provided, so you just need to hop on board and start fishing.
Be sure to bring your valid fishing license, dress appropriately for the weather, and pack sunscreen, polarized sunglasses, food, and drinks for a comfortable and enjoyable day.
