Hello, I’m Capt. Cory. My passion for the outdoors began early in life, and I’ve been involved in guiding since I was 16, alongside a career in law enforcement. Today, I’m a full-time guide, dedicated to ensuring my clients have a memorable experience while teaching them how to interpret the water. On occasion, some trips don’t go as hoped: “I booked a trip for my husband and son, and after spending $700, unfortunately, neither caught fish. We gave it a try but wouldn’t repeat the experience.”
To this, I respond: fishing is about more than just the catch—I focus on teaching and helping clients enjoy the entire journey. On their trip, they had chances but were unable to bring fish to the boat. While I can’t guarantee every catch, I worked hard for them and they did hook several fish we couldn’t land. I hope for a better outcome next time.

We understand how disappointing it can be to come up empty-handed. Please reach out to our team; we’d be glad to arrange another trip with a guide to give your husband and son another opportunity.
You can cancel your booking without any charge if done at least 30 days prior to your trip and the amount will be credited to your account. If you cancel within 30 days of your trip, your deposit will be retained by the guide. For cancellations made on the day of the trip or if you do not show up, the full trip cost will be billed to your card.
I supply water to every client and also offer lures for the trip upon request.
This trip focuses solely on wade fishing or drift fishing using artificial lures. Typically, wade fishing trips last around 4 to 5 hours, making them perfect for a half-day adventure. Clients are expected to bring their own rod, reel, and waders if necessary.
I can supply wade boxes and a selection of lures. Additionally, my personal rods are available to use with a deposit, which becomes non-refundable if the reel comes into contact with water.
Our morning begins with a brief boat ride to a flat or back lake area where we will locate the fish. I will guide you through techniques such as how to approach a fishing spot considering wind and structure, and how to properly present your bait. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced wader, I enjoy helping anglers improve their skills.
After the fishing session, we will return to shore where I will clean your catch if you decide to keep some fish for dinner.
