About Your Guide

Captain Jodie holds a USCG captain’s license, is certified by TPWD as a guide, and carries full insurance coverage. Having lived and fished around Port Aransas, Texas for many years, Captain Jodie brings extensive expertise as a fishing guide in this region. We offer guided fishing excursions lasting 4 or 8 hours for groups of up to five anglers daily in areas including Port Aransas, Corpus Christi, Aransas Pass, Rockport, and nearby waters. Larger parties can be arranged upon request. Our trips primarily focus on targeting species such as redfish, black drum, flounder, and speckled trout in the bay areas. We’re excited to welcome you aboard and provide a memorable and safe fishing adventure along the Third Coast!

Jodie was fantastic. Our morning started off cool with choppy channel water, so Jodie suggested meeting at a different spot. Once we got going, he expertly helped each of us get hooked up and fishing. When the fish weren’t biting in one area, he quickly moved us to another location. At the final spot, fish were biting so fast we barely had time to get our lines back in before catching more, and we reached our limits quickly. Jodie even cleaned the fish for us to take back to our rental, making for a delicious meal. Thanks!

As seniors, my husband and I appreciated how well Jodie and Justin took care of us. The boat was clean and roomy for the four of us, and Jodie skillfully navigated the trip, avoiding rough wakes. Each of us had our own guide to help bait hooks, cast lines, and net our catches. They also cleaned and bagged the fish for freezing. We caught our limits and thoroughly enjoyed our morning on the water. Jodie went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience. We will definitely book with him again. A true 5-star captain!
