Hi, I’m Bobby from Springfield, Missouri, and I specialize in guiding bass fishing excursions on Table Rock Lake. Having grown up fishing these waters, I have a deep appreciation for the lake and enjoy every opportunity to be out on it. Before pursuing guiding, I spent 21 years working as a veterinarian for large farm animals. About a decade ago, I started competing in fishing tournaments, which reignited my passion for the sport. I officially began guiding trips in 2022.
Starting in January, I’ll be using a brand-new Phoenix boat equipped with the latest Garmin electronics, including Livescope, to enhance the fishing experience. I also provide training on how to use these electronics effectively. We utilize top-tier, tournament-level gear and primarily focus on casting to catch fish. Even beginners, including kids who have never cast before, quickly learn and often end up catching fish by the end of the outing.
My greatest passions are my faith and my family. When I’m not fishing, I enjoy golfing and hunting. Clients can look forward to a professional, safe, and enjoyable fishing adventure. I make sure to communicate clearly before the trip about meeting times, locations, and what to expect on the water. I am also flexible with the starting point to accommodate your needs.
One satisfied customer shared that I went above and beyond to secure their trip on the exact day they wanted for a large group, praising my helpfulness and accommodating nature. Another said I was fantastic—engaging and patient with everyone in their party—and highly recommended my services regardless of fishing experience. Many guests find their time with me well worth the trip to Branson.
You can cancel at no cost if done at least 7 days prior to your scheduled trip and the amount will be credited to your account. If you cancel within a week of the trip, your deposit will be retained by the guide. Cancellations made on the day of the trip or failure to show up will result in a charge of the full trip amount to your card.
Please dress appropriately for the weather and time of year. During the summer, be sure to bring or wear sunscreen. In cooler weather, keep in mind that it can feel colder on the water, especially when operating the boat. If there’s any chance of rain, we recommend bringing rain gear. If you have a lifejacket that fits well and is comfortable, please bring it; otherwise, I will provide one for you.
Hello, I’m Bobby, and I offer bass fishing excursions on the beautiful Table Rock Lake. Having grown up fishing here, I’ve developed a deep love for the lake and the sport, and I enjoy sharing this passion with anglers of all ages and skill levels. Our trips feature tournament-grade equipment, allowing us to often target trophy-sized bass.
Trips start at a minimum of 4 hours, usually beginning early in the morning, though the start time may vary based on the season and fishing conditions. A 4-hour trip accommodates up to two anglers for $400, with an additional $50 for each third fisherman. Typically, trips are limited to three participants, but I frequently guide families of four—especially when the goal is to have the kids catch fish. For larger groups, I can arrange extra guides and boats to accommodate everyone comfortably.
We fish from a 2025 Phoenix 721 ZXL equipped with advanced Garmin electronics, including LiveScope. I also provide electronics training sessions, which are offered at the same rates as fishing trips.
Our approach uses the most effective bass fishing techniques currently working on Table Rock Lake. If you want to focus on a particular technique, let’s discuss the ideal season for it so we can plan your trip accordingly.
Bottled water is provided during all trips, but please bring any additional snacks or beverages you may want.
Thank you for your interest, and I look forward to taking you out on the water soon!
