Enjoy the option to cancel without any charges if you do so at least 7 days prior to your scheduled trip and receive a credit added to your account. Cancellations made within the last 7 days before the trip will result in the loss of your deposit, which will be retained by the guide. If you cancel on the day of the trip or fail to show up, the full trip cost will be charged to your payment method.

From early spring through late fall, Lake Texoma becomes a hotspot for gamefish action. Whether you're targeting Striped Bass, Sand Bass, Smallmouth Bass, or hefty Catfish, this dynamic lake promises excitement and unexpected catches. This trip uses a variety of fishing techniques—including trolling, bottom fishing, drifting, and jigging—adapting to the day's ideal bite. Whether you prefer light or heavy tackle, you'll be fully prepared for whatever pulls on your line.
Captain Dirk operates these excursions on his well-equipped 24-foot Blazer Bay, comfortably accommodating groups of up to five anglers. The boat is stocked with premium equipment such as GPS, a fish finder, a 45-gallon live bait tank, a wireless trolling motor, and downriggers, all designed to help you locate and stay on top of the fish. Live bait is provided on every trip and can be prepared in advance with 24 hours' notice. All rods, reels, tackle, and lures are included, and once your trip concludes, Captain Dirk will clean and pack your catch—removing the red meat so it’s ready to be frozen and cooked at home.
Planning to bring children? Captain Dirk encourages family participation and welcomes anglers of all ages. Kid-sized life vests are available if needed. Remember to pack snacks and beverages to keep everyone energized throughout the day. Essential items include sunscreen (please use non-spray formulas), polarized sunglasses, and rain gear, particularly for cooler mornings or changing weather conditions. Dressing in layers is recommended to stay comfortable as temperatures fluctuate.
