Hello, I’m Garrett! I specialize in freshwater and saltwater fishing excursions throughout South Florida. My fishing adventures mainly take place on Osborne and Ida Lakes as well as the Everglades, and for saltwater trips, we head out from Pompano Beach. I’ve been fishing since I was three, thanks to lessons from my dad and plenty of hands-on learning. After exploring various careers and serving in the Air Force, I embraced the chance to turn my passion into a profession—and I’ve never looked back.
I manage two boats tailored to the type of trip we’re undertaking. For freshwater, I use a 21-foot Tracker Grizzly 2072 equipped with a 90 hp Mercury outboard motor. For saltwater expeditions, I captain a 30-foot SeaVee 290i cuddy cabin powered by a 420 Yanmar engine. When venturing offshore, I team up with a longtime fishing partner who shares a deep-rooted experience in these waters, so our trips benefit from a collaborative spirit.
What distinguishes me from many other guides is my commitment to going the extra mile—literally. While some guides settle early, we keep pushing until we locate the fish you’re after. Your satisfaction is my priority. Outside of fishing, I enjoy reading and taking on various projects, but fishing remains the heart of my life. I’ve been fortunate to travel widely, enjoy African safaris, indulge in occasional hunting, and appreciate live music and social events with friends.

You can cancel your booking free of charge up to 14 days prior to your scheduled trip and receive a credit refund to your account. If you cancel within the 14-day window before the trip, your deposit will be retained by the guide. Cancellations made on the day of the trip or failures to show up will result in the full trip cost being charged to your payment method.
We provide all rods, reels, and tackle for your convenience. However, if you prefer to bring your own gear, please contact us before your trip. We recommend wearing quick-dry clothing and comfortable closed-toe shoes. Be sure to apply sunscreen, and bring sunglasses and hats for sun protection. Additionally, using fishing gloves is advisable, as some fish can be rough to handle and gloves will help protect your hands.
Join us aboard a 30-foot diesel inboard SeaVee with a comfortable cuddy cabin as we head to several nearshore spots known for excellent fishing. Our destinations include wrecks, reefs, and other underwater structures, ideal for targeting a variety of popular fish species. The fishing grounds are conveniently located less than 10 miles from the marina, ensuring travel times of under 30 minutes each way. Thanks to our proximity to the Gulfstream off South Florida, there’s no need for long hauls to find great fishing.
This trip is designed for both enjoyment and success, aiming to bring home a full freezer of fish. We employ a mix of artificial lures, live bait, and cut bait to maximize our catch, meeting daily limits regularly. After returning, we take care of cleaning and bagging your fish for you.
Our crew can consist of a solo captain or a captain with one mate, and the vessel can accommodate up to six guests comfortably. Onboard amenities include a restroom and a shaded cuddy cabin to provide relief from the sun, making your experience both relaxing and productive.
