Captain Bob has spent his entire life fishing the Great Lakes. Holding a USCG captain's license, he brings more than 38 years of expertise in running Lake Erie charters alongside his wife, Captain Carole, who shares the same extensive experience. Over the years, he has participated in numerous fishing tournaments and proudly held six Freshwater Hall of Fame catch-and-release records for Smallmouth Bass and Walleye. What drives Captain Bob is the daily challenge to improve his skills and deepen his knowledge as a fisherman. He truly enjoys welcoming guests aboard and helping them land fish. Captain Bob warmly invites you to embark on an exciting Lake Erie expedition where you’ll have the chance to catch plenty of fish and build unforgettable memories. You can cancel your booking without any charges if you do so at least 14 days prior to your trip and you will be refunded with credit added to your account. If you cancel less than 14 days before your scheduled trip, your deposit will be retained by the guide. Canceling on the day of the trip or not showing up will result in your card being charged for the full amount of the trip.

Targeting a variety of species calls for different fishing techniques to boost your chances of catching fish. On Lake Erie, that means slow-trolling for Walleye, who prefer faster-moving lures near the lake’s bottom, alongside light tackle cast-and-retrieve methods for Smallmouth Bass and Perch. While Bass are usually released back into the water, both Walleye and Perch are excellent for eating. Captain Bob can handle cleaning your catch at the dock—just bring a cooler to take your fish home.

Equipped with a powerful 380-HP inboard engine, you’ll reach prime fishing spots quickly.
