Captain Lloyd’s introduction to fishing began at the age of five, when his father first took him out and taught him all the essentials. Over the past 30 years, Lloyd has been honing his skills on Lake Erie, gaining extensive experience. After years of enjoying fishing outings with family and friends, he decided to extend his knowledge by guiding others. If you want a seasoned and knowledgeable captain, Lloyd is the perfect choice. You can cancel without any charges up to five days prior to your scheduled trip and get your credit refunded to your account. If you cancel less than five days before the trip, your deposit will be retained by the guide. Cancellations made on the day of the trip or failure to show up will result in the full trip amount being charged to your card.
All rods, reels, and tackle are provided. However, we suggest bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, clothing suitable for the weather, and any personal gear you'd like to use during the trip.
Join Captain Lloyd for an exciting day on Lake Erie, targeting Walleye year-round and Perch during the early fall months. Walleye fishing on Lake Erie is reliable throughout the warmer season, typically from April 30 to October 31. Starting in September, as the water begins to cool, you can also enjoy excellent Perch fishing. With decades of experience on the lake, Captain Lloyd will guide you on a full-day adventure, taking you to the prime fishing spots to maximize your catch. Both Walleye and Perch offer delicious bites and are suitable for anglers of all skill levels. You’ll fish using traditional light tackle with cast-and-retrieve techniques, employing a range of lures to attract the fish.
Captain Lloyd operates a 30-foot Baha boat, which comfortably accommodates up to six guests in addition to the captain. Powered by a robust 400HP Volvo Penta engine, the boat is equipped with amenities such as a toilet, ice boxes, and a fishfinder to make your fishing experience comfortable and productive.
All necessary gear, including rods, reels, tackle, and bait, will be provided by Captain Lloyd, so you can simply focus on enjoying the trip. Be sure to bring sun protection, appropriate clothing, and your fishing licenses. It’s a good idea to check the weather forecast a few days in advance to dress and prepare accordingly for a fantastic day on the water.
