Captain Nate grew up in the Florida Panhandle and has been exploring the waters of the Gulf of Mexico since he was young enough to handle a fishing rod. Over the years, he has enhanced his skills learning from several seasoned captains, including his own grandfather. As a licensed and insured USCG charter captain, Captain Nate ensures a safe and enjoyable experience on the water. Additionally, he is a certified Firefighter/Paramedic in Florida, giving extra peace of mind to all guests.
Our time with Captain Nate was exceptional. He guided us directly to prime fishing spots, making for a memorable trip. With the expert help of deckhand Luke, who kept our gear in top shape, we landed a variety of fish species. The constant action made for quite a workout, and their deep knowledge of the local waters truly showed. We’re already planning our next adventure with them!
From the start, Captain Nate took a genuine interest in understanding our group and our goals for the trip. He provided insightful details about current weather conditions, seasonal fish, and helpful tips to maximize our outing. Although heavy fog slowed our trip heading out, once we reached our destination, the conditions improved dramatically. Captain Nate skillfully positioned us for a successful catch that included Triggerfish, Red Snapper, B-Liners, and some tropical species. While we could only keep the B-Liners, our family absolutely loved the experience.
As we made our way back, we noticed a Red Tide bloom affected some of the fishing, but that didn't lessen the enjoyment. I’m definitely booking another charter with Captain Nate for future trips. He was very accommodating and kept the energy high even when fishing was challenging. His constant efforts to find fish and excellent communication throughout the day made the experience stand out. Even with rough waters, Captain Nate navigated safely and expertly, showing his skill both as a skipper and a fisherman. I look forward to many more trips with him.
Nate and his mate Patrick were outstanding, especially with the kids, who had a wonderful time fishing. Their friendly nature and ability to put us on the fish made this trip one we won't forget. It truly was an ideal outing, and we couldn't have asked for better hosts.
You can cancel without any charges if you do so at least 3 days before your scheduled trip, and the amount will be credited back to your account. If you cancel within 3 days of your trip, your deposit will be retained by the guide. Cancelling on the day of the trip or failing to show up will result in the full trip cost being charged to your payment method.
Please bring a cooler stocked with your own food and beverages, and remember to pack sunscreen. Fishing licenses, rods, reels, and tackle are all provided.
Join Captain Nathan for a fantastic day on the water exploring the reefs and nearshore areas around Panama City Beach. This 5-hour fishing excursion offers the option to fish either natural bottoms or artificial reefs, with the flexibility to switch to trolling for pelagic species if you prefer.
Under Captain Nathan's expert guidance, you’ll have the opportunity to target a wide range of fish, including Dorado (Mahi Mahi), Jack Crevalle, Amberjack, Kingfish, Grouper, Wahoo, and many others.

You will fish aboard Captain Nathan’s 25-foot Sea Hunt center console boat, powered by dual 150 HP Yamaha engines, comfortably accommodating up to 6 anglers.
All rods, reels, tackle, and lures are provided, along with live bait included in the trip price. The fishing license for the entire party is also covered. At the end of your trip, Captain Nathan will fillet and package your catch at no extra cost. You are welcome to bring your own food, drinks, and a cooler to take home your fresh catch.
