About Your Guide

Captain Greg, a longtime Falmouth local, has spent many summers exploring the waters around Falmouth, Martha’s Vineyard, and Nantucket Sound. Passionate about boating and seasoned in fishing, he knows the area’s waters and prime fishing spots inside and out. In his younger years, Greg gained hands-on experience working as a deckhand aboard the charter vessels "High Hopes" and "Double Eagle" operating out of Falmouth Harbor. He also attended the United States Coast Guard Academy for two years before earning a dual degree in economics and psychology from Assumption College in 2002. Beyond his maritime expertise, Greg has a strong background working with youth. He enjoys coaching youth basketball, introducing children to marine life, and has served as a therapeutic mentor for at-risk kids through Child & Family Services and Family Continuity in Hyannis, MA. Whether you’re a seasoned East Coast fisherman or a novice, a trip with Captain Greg on his classic 1967 Mackenzie Cuttyhunk promises an unforgettable experience. Customers frequently praise his guidance, with many eager to book their next outing.

Join Captain Greg for an unforgettable fishing adventure off the coast of Falmouth, MA. With over 30 years of experience and a fantastic 27' Boston Whaler Cuddy Cabin at the helm, Captain Greg is equipped to create the perfect outing for everyone—whether you're a seasoned angler, a beginner, or a family seeking a traditional East Coast fishing experience.

During this trip, you’ll explore inshore wrecks and underwater structures—prime habitats for a variety of fish species such as Striped Bass, Black Seabass, Porgy, Bluefish, and Tautog. Employ diverse fishing methods including jigging, drifting, and bottom fishing to maximize your catch.

Your journey takes place aboard a classic 27' Boston Whaler, powered by twin 250hp Yamaha outboard engines that ensure both speed and safety. With a beam over 10 feet, this boat provides a steady and comfortable platform, minimizing side-to-side motion and capable of swift inshore and offshore runs. This model is widely regarded as one of Boston Whaler’s finest hull designs.

Captain Greg arrives fully prepared, providing all necessary gear such as rods, reels, bait, tackle, and—most importantly—his expert knowledge to guide you to the best fishing spots. From Grandpa to Junior, everyone is set for a chance at a new personal best.

To make the most of your time on the water, be sure to bring appropriate clothing, a hat, polarized sunglasses, and sunscreen. Then, get ready to enjoy a beautiful day fishing aboard a classic vessel with a skilled captain at the wheel.
