Captain Frank shares his fishing journey: "My love for fishing started early, exploring beaches, back bays, sod banks, and jetties alongside my dad. I learned the ropes catching smaller bait fish that he would use to reel in bigger catches. Over time, I expanded my experience fishing from friends’ boats, docks, bridges, and along sod banks. These formative trips deeply influenced my approach to fishing and who I am today. Whenever I skipped school, it was usually to go fishing, and many sick days were spent with a rod in hand. Nowadays, when I lead guided fishing trips, I draw from those rich memories, aiming to ignite the same passion in everyone I fish with. I take pride in sharing my knowledge, experience, and sheer love for the sport. As an instructor, I can break down fishing techniques for anglers at any skill level – whether you’re just starting out or have years of experience. No matter your expertise, I tailor each trip to ensure we find the fish and make the most of our time on the water.”
Frank truly excels at putting us on the catch. In just four hours, we landed 26 fish, including 8 keepers. Growing up in Wildwood, he’s intimately familiar with the back bays and local waters. I had an outstanding time with Frank as he guided me to a beach teeming with fish, where I caught numerous large bluefish—one of the species I was eager to target. Frank’s deep knowledge and helpful advice made the trip both fun and educational. This was definitely a memorable and rewarding experience!
Spending a morning surf fishing with Frank was fantastic. I learned a great deal and enjoyed catching a wide variety of sea creatures. Frank is a seasoned guide, full of captivating fishing stories and pictures. I will certainly be booking trips with him again and again.
Bill Richards notes that Frank is an expert on the waterways around Stone Harbor and Cape May. Throughout our four-hour trip, he navigated us to seven different fishing spots, ensuring we found plenty of fish. Frank’s dedication went beyond the scheduled time, staying out longer to maximize our experience. He genuinely cares about his clients and was especially supportive of the less experienced anglers in our group. I wouldn’t hesitate to book another trip with him the next time I’m in the area.
