About Your Guide

Captain Frank shares his lifelong passion for fishing, which began in his childhood spent exploring beaches, back bays, sod banks, and jetties. His earliest fishing memories include accompanying his father to catch smaller bait fish, which sparked his deep love for the sport. Over time, Frank expanded his experience by fishing with friends from boats, docks, bridges, and shorelines. These formative moments have greatly influenced his style and approach to fishing.

Fishing was such an integral part of his life that he occasionally missed school just to spend time on the water, and many sick days were enjoyed with a rod in hand. Today, Frank leads guided fishing tours, drawing on those early experiences to create memorable trips for his guests. He is passionate about sharing his extensive knowledge and enthusiasm for fishing with everyone, whether they are complete beginners or seasoned anglers. His teaching skills allow him to make fishing accessible and enjoyable for people of all ages and skill levels.

Frank’s tours are adaptable to different starting points, ensuring a flexible and personalized experience. Clients praise his deep familiarity with the local waters and his ability to consistently find fish. In one notable trip, guests caught 26 fish with 8 keepers in just four hours, a testament to his expertise and local knowledge.

Many have had memorable experiences with Frank, highlighting his ability to lead them to productive fishing spots where big catches like bluefish are common. His helpful guidance and fishing tips make every outing educational and fun. Whether you want to try surf fishing or explore other saltwater species, Frank’s tours offer a rewarding adventure filled with stories and plenty of action.

Bill Richards, another satisfied customer, remarks that Frank is a true master of the Stone Harbor and Cape May waterways. Over a single four-hour excursion, Frank navigated through seven prime fishing locations and even extended the trip to maximize the fishing opportunities. He is known not only for his skills but also for his genuine care for clients, making sure even less experienced anglers feel supported and confident. Returning for another trip with Frank is an easy choice for those who appreciate his expertise and commitment to excellent service.

This trip is perfect for those looking for a shorter adventure to test the waters or for families with young children wanting to give fishing a try.

From early season in May through early July, we focus on fishing in the back bays, targeting flounder, stripers, blues, and weakfish. Then, from July to September, we venture out to the reefs, wrecks, and ocean lumps to pursue a wider variety of species.

Suitable for groups of one to six people, this trip welcomes anglers of all experience levels, and children are always encouraged to join.
