At one point, he realized that sharing his love of fishing with families would be incredibly rewarding. That inspired him to purchase a boat and start offering charters. My son and I had an amazing day out with Captain Brandon. He made the trip very personal and filled with fascinating stories. My son caught a beautiful Spinner Shark, checking that off his bucket list. We’re already excited to book another trip with him.
On our second day fishing with Captain Brandon, we focused on inshore spots near the mangroves in Southwest Florida. It was fantastic! We caught snook and redfish, and even spotted large tarpon rolling along the surface. Plus, we got a bonus peek at some incredible Everglades wildlife.
Our group of three had a great time with Brandon, who knows the area and its wildlife inside and out. We would definitely go out with him again. He did a fantastic job guiding our fishing trip, especially with our two kids. He was patient, knowledgeable about where the fish were biting, and made sure everyone caught something.
Brandon kept a few smaller fish to use as bait for sharks and soon had us all excited as a shark line took off. My husband got to reel it in, and after about 20 minutes, the shark was safely in the boat. The kids were thrilled! Even though we didn’t catch large numbers of fish, reeling in that shark was a highlight for our whole family. Later, Captain Brandon took time at the dock to show our kids some enormous fish in the marina and explained how they react to anything in the water. We highly recommend him for a memorable day on the water.
We had an excellent day fishing, enjoying great weather and reeling in some good catches. I will be booking another trip with Captain Brandon soon. Growing up locally, he has a deep understanding of the best fishing spots and takes fantastic care of his guests. His patience and kindness, especially with our seven-year-old grandson, made the day extra special. I can’t recommend him enough as a guide and captain.
Captain Brandon was a fantastic guide on our fishing adventure! With children aged 7 and 8 who have always wanted to catch a shark, this trip was incredible. We managed to land some impressive bull sharks and had a great time overall. During the waits typical in shark fishing, Brandon kept the kids engaged and entertained, which they truly appreciated. The fishing takes place aboard his 26-foot Sea Chaser center console, which features a spacious, stable deck designed to comfortably accommodate up to six anglers fishing simultaneously.
All necessary gear is provided for your convenience: rods, reels, bait, tackle, and fishing licenses are included, along with an icebox to keep your catch fresh. The only things you need to bring are your favorite snacks and drinks, ready for an exciting day on the water.
