Even though the offshore plan had to be changed due to weather, Captain Phil and Tim quickly found great fishing spots in the mangroves where we had nonstop action. This trip was perfect for both experienced anglers and beginners. Our young sons had a blast and caught some impressive fish. Captain Phil and Tim were outstanding, and I will definitely recommend them to others and plan to fish further offshore with them next time.

You can cancel your booking at no cost if you do so at least three days prior to your adventure, and the amount will be refunded to your account. If you cancel within three days of the trip, your deposit will be retained by the guide. Cancellations on the day of the trip or failing to show up will result in the full trip price being charged to your payment method.
You have two options for live bait: spend 30-45 minutes catching it yourself, or pay an extra $100 to have it prepared and waiting for you at the dock upon arrival. Your fishing license, ice box, rods, reels, and tackle are all included.
Captain Phil provides backwater fishing experiences suitable for families and avid anglers alike. Whether you prefer day or night trips, you can explore fishing spots from Naples Bay to the 10,000 Islands and Everglades National Park. Target species include tarpon, snook, trout, pompano, tripletail, sharks, and more.
Your adventure will take place on Captain Phil's 24-foot Avenger bay boat, which seats up to six people comfortably. The boat features a t-top to offer protection from the intense South Florida sun. Children and pets are always welcome aboard!
All fishing equipment such as rods, reels, tackle, bait, and fishing licenses will be provided. Water and ice are also included. You are encouraged to bring any additional food or beverages you want. While there is generally ample space in the onboard coolers, you may bring your own small cooler if preferred. Feel free to bring your personal fishing gear if you wish.
During the hot summer months, wearing long-sleeved clothing with UV protection is highly recommended to shield from the sun’s rays. Captain Phil also advises applying sunblock, wearing polarized sunglasses, and a hat for added protection. Footwear designed for wet conditions is best. Don’t forget to bring your favorite camera to capture unforgettable moments. Please note that handheld GPS devices are not permitted on board. Thank you!
