My fishing journey began from small john boats and along the shores of golf courses in central Florida. The moment I cast my first line into Mosquito Lagoon, I was instantly hooked. Over the past ten years, I have dedicated countless hours to perfecting my fly-tying skills, crafting the ideal rod, and mastering the flawless cast. Through this passion, I discovered that I enjoy guiding just as much as fishing myself. Helping clients connect with the fish is equally rewarding as reeling in my own catches. Come as a guest, leave as a friend—let’s make the most of every moment on the water!
I am a fully licensed and insured fishing guide by the US Coast Guard and hold a Special Use Permit for the Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge. I offer flexibility in choosing your starting location for a customized fishing experience. Taylor is an exceptional captain who combines a relaxed attitude with deep knowledge of Mosquito Lagoon, despite his youthful energy he has gained significant experience. Always punctual, with a spotless and well-kept boat, Taylor consistently locates abundant fish, making him an invaluable asset for your trip. Capturing that elusive catch becomes easier with him by your side.
Captain Taylor is not only a skilled angler but also incredibly informative and patient, making every outing enjoyable. The boat is maintained immaculately, adding to the overall comfortable and professional experience. I had a fantastic time on the water and would enthusiastically recommend his guiding services to anyone looking for a memorable fishing adventure.
You can cancel your booking up to 14 days before your trip without any charges and the amount will be credited back to your account. Cancellations made on the day of the trip or failure to show up will result in a full charge of the trip cost to your payment method.
Feel free to bring any food and drinks you’d like to enjoy during the day—I’ll take care of the ice! You’re welcome to use your own rod and reel, or you can use ours if you prefer. The key things to remember are sun protection and polarized sunglasses. If you don’t have a pair, just let me know, and I’ll bring some for you to use throughout the day!
