About Your Guide

My fishing journey began from humble john boats and along the edges of golf courses in central Florida. The moment I cast my line into Mosquito Lagoon, I was hooked for life. Over the past ten years, I have dedicated countless hours to perfecting my fly-tying skills, crafting the ideal rod, and mastering the flawless cast. Along the way, I discovered that the art of poling is just as fulfilling as landing the fish itself. This passion inspired me to become a fishing guide. Helping clients reel in their catches brings me just as much joy as snagging my own. Come as a client, leave as a friend—let’s get out there and make it happen!

I am a licensed and fully insured fishing guide recognized by the US Coast Guard, holding a Special Use Permit for the Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge. I offer flexible start locations to suit your needs.

Taylor is an exceptional captain, with a calm demeanor and impressive expertise in Mosquito Lagoon despite his youth. He runs a punctual, spotless, and well-maintained boat, constantly spotting fish and providing an outstanding fishing experience. Taylor truly is your hidden advantage when fishing in the Lagoon.

Captain Taylor is knowledgeable, patient, and an excellent guide to fish with. The boat's cleanliness adds to the overall enjoyment of the trip. I had a fantastic time and highly recommend his services.

Polarized sunglasses are essential; if you don’t have a pair, just let me know in advance and I’ll make sure to pack some for you!

Along the way, you’ll have numerous chances to observe native birds, manatees, dolphins, and perhaps even catch a glimpse of a portly fellow pushing the boat behind us.
