About Your Guide

For over a decade, Captain Daniel has been leading exceptional fishing charters in Port Aransas, Texas, catering to adventures offshore, deep-sea, and within the local bays. Guests have the chance to reel in species such as Yellowfin and Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Amberjack, Cobia, Red Snapper, Kingfish, Marlin, Grouper, and Sharks. The crew dedicates their full attention to each passenger, welcoming both seasoned fishermen and novices alike. A special passion lies in mentoring children and newcomers, sharing knowledge about Gulf of Mexico fish species and time-honored fishing techniques passed down through generations.

As a third-generation fisherman, Captain Danny’s affinity for the sea is deeply rooted. He learned to navigate the waters before even owning a vehicle to transport his boat! He takes great pride in teaching those new to deep-sea fishing and cherishes the return of loyal clients year after year. When off duty, he enjoys quality time with family and savoring fresh catches. Every excursion includes premium fishing gear — rods, tackle, and accessories — along with coolers stocked to preserve your food and drinks all day, plus live bait for an optimal experience. Simply specify your desired date, group size, trip length, and starting time to reserve your spot with Captain Danny and his expert team.

Many customers have praised their trips, highlighting the knowledgeable and hardworking crew members like Banjo, Marshall, Kaylee, Beau, Blake, Rooster, Braxton, Mark, and James. They consistently go the extra mile to ensure guests are well-equipped, comfortable, and have plenty of opportunities to catch fish. Numerous family outings, birthday celebrations, and special occasions have become unforgettable thanks to the knowledgeable captains and attentive deckhands who excel in making everyone feel welcomed and educated on the sport.

While the vast majority of trips are met with enthusiasm and satisfaction, some guests have expressed concerns regarding weather conditions impacting the fishing experience or issues with communication. Rough seas and unexpected weather can pose challenges, and captains must balance safety with client expectations. On occasion, clients have requested refunds or reconsiderations when trips were shortened or rescheduled due to rough waters. The team strives to address these situations fairly by offering discounts or refunds when appropriate to maintain strong relationships and ensure guest satisfaction.

In all instances, the crew commits to putting in hard work and using their extensive local knowledge to maximize fishing opportunities. Whether it’s guiding clients to the best spots for snapper, wahoo, or tuna, or assisting beginners with baiting and reeling in their first catch, the emphasis is always on creating a memorable and enjoyable outing on the Gulf waters.

Reviews frequently commend the excellent equipment aboard the vessels, including spacious, well-ventilated boats with modern amenities like air conditioning. Guests value the flexibility of the captains and their readiness to accommodate families and groups with varying experience levels. Despite some inevitable weather setbacks, the team remains dedicated to delivering top-tier fishing adventures and looks forward to welcoming new and returning anglers eager to explore the rich fishing grounds of Port Aransas.
