My name is Captain Steven. I was born in Homestead, Florida, and raised in Ocala, Florida. Although I obtained my Captain’s License in 2023, my experience on boats and fishing spans my entire life. Fishing runs in my family—my grandfather was also a fishing captain, and I am honored to carry on that tradition. Through my charter service, I aim to introduce people to the wonders of nature, whether it’s catching their very first fish, landing their biggest catch, or even trying a unique Florida adventure like scalloping, which is essentially an underwater Easter egg hunt. I hope that after reading about me, you’ll consider booking your next Florida water excursion with me.
Spending a day with Steven was truly enjoyable. Throughout our trip, we caught a variety of fish at multiple locations. He came well-prepared with plenty of water and Powerade to keep us hydrated on a hot summer day. His boat and gear exceeded expectations, and there was an ample supply of bait to keep us fishing all day. I highly recommend Steven to anyone eager to get out on the water and reel in some fish. He’s a great guy—friendly and professional.
Even on a tough fishing day when the fish were elusive, Steven remained dedicated and knowledgeable, helping us land a few keepers. He proved to be an excellent guide, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book another trip with him in the future.
You can cancel at no cost if done at least 48 hours before your scheduled trip and get a credit applied to your account. Join Captain Steven for an unforgettable fishing adventure exploring the diverse habitats of Yankeetown. From the serene grass flats to the bustling oyster bars, you’ll have the chance to catch a variety of local fish species. Enjoy picturesque views and spot wildlife as we slowly make our way from the Withlacoochee River out into the Gulf of Mexico, where the real fishing action begins.
Using light tackle, we tailor the experience to your preference, choosing between artificial lures or live bait to maximize your success on the water. My priority as a guide is to ensure every client has an enjoyable and educational trip, sharing the passion and knowledge that make fishing so rewarding. We look forward to being part of your next fishing journey.
