Since I was a child, fishing, hunting, and exploring nature have been my greatest passions. While many kids looked up to athletes and musicians, my role models have always been legendary outdoorsmen such as Davy Crockett, Richard Proenneke, and Daniel Boone. My time serving in the military allowed me to travel extensively, giving me the chance to fish and hunt in various locations across the country and around the world. When the time came to start my own venture, merging my entrepreneurial drive with my love for the outdoors was a natural choice. My goal is to inspire and revive a passion for nature in everyone I encounter.
Captain Brad provided an exceptional guiding experience, leading us straight to the fish! My wife and I landed a large redfish, reached our limit on sheepshead, and enjoyed a delicious speckled trout. You can cancel without any charge up to three days prior to your scheduled trip, and the amount will be credited back to your account. If you cancel less than three days before the trip, your deposit will be retained by the guide. Cancellations made on the day of the trip or failure to show up will result in the full trip cost being billed to your payment method.
All essentials are provided, but we suggest packing sunglasses, sunscreen, suitable clothing for the weather, and any additional items you may want during the trip.
Please arrive at Conn Brown Harbor by 6:00 AM to begin the trip. If you need to start earlier or later, arrangements can be made in advance. Capt. Brad’s boat is fully stocked for a full day of fishing with all tackle and bait supplied. If you plan to bring small children, kindly include a note during booking so we can ensure the availability of properly sized life jackets.
Remember to bring your fishing license, which is mandatory for all adults. It’s also a good idea to bring snacks, beverages (bottled water will be provided), and sunblock. Moderate consumption of alcohol is allowed; however, please avoid bringing glass bottles.
With over 30 years of fishing expertise worldwide, Capt. Brad will use a variety of techniques tailored to the current fish species and their feeding habits. Methods may include popping, free lining, sight casting live bait, and others. Throughout the trip, Capt. Brad will offer guidance and instruction, ensuring you not only catch fish but also gain valuable knowledge about where and how to fish effectively.
The 2017 Blueave Lady J is a 19-foot center console boat designed for an exceptional fishing experience. Powered by a reliable 115 hp Bluewave engine, this single-engine vessel offers both power and efficiency for versatile water adventures. Equipped with two livewells/baitwells, it ensures your bait stays fresh throughout the trip. The GPS-guided trolling motor allows for precise navigation and strategic positioning, enhancing your chances of a successful catch. Power poles provide stability and hold the boat steady when you find the perfect fishing spot. While the Lady J does not have a restroom, its well-thought-out amenities make it an ideal choice for anglers seeking a productive and enjoyable day on the water.
