While it frightened many, it captured my imagination and inspired me to pursue fishing at sea. After dedicating 30 years to a career in law enforcement, I have now made it my mission to connect others with the wonders of the ocean. As a captain, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing the pure excitement on a child’s face when they feel their very first bite on the fishing line. You can cancel at no cost if done at least 7 days prior to your trip and the amount will be credited back to your account. If you cancel less than 7 days before the trip, your deposit will be non-refundable and paid to the guide. Cancellations on the day of the trip or failure to show up will result in the full trip cost being charged to your payment method.
All necessary gear will be provided. However, we suggest bringing along sunglasses, non-spray sunscreen, and clothing suited to the weather. Feel free to also bring any personal equipment you'd like to use during the trip.

Assisting them is a First Mate or Second Captain, who plays a crucial role in making your experience smooth and enjoyable—tipping your Mate or Second Captain is customary.
Throughout the day, you’ll have the chance to catch a variety of fish depending on the season. Possible catches include Red Snapper, Gag Grouper, Gray Triggerfish, Vermilion Snapper, Mahi Mahi, Amberjack, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Spanish Mackerel, and other spirited fighters. Your fishing techniques may vary from trolling and bottom fishing to specialized local methods tailored to the area.
This trip is family-friendly, and children are warmly welcomed onboard. Be sure to inquire about the availability of child-sized life vests, or bring your own for safety. Bringing snacks is advisable to keep everyone happy and energized during the outing.
Your journey starts aboard a 26-foot Sea Hunt center console boat, which comfortably accommodates up to six anglers. The boat is fully equipped with essentials, including an onboard toilet for your convenience. Rods, reels, and live bait are provided by the captain, so there’s no need to bring your own gear.
No fishing license is necessary for this trip, allowing you to focus entirely on the fun. However, bear in mind that certain fish species may have seasonal restrictions or special regulations—your captain can provide all the necessary information. Remember to pack bottled water, non-spray sunscreen, and sunglasses. Glass bottles are not permitted onboard.
Safety is a top priority. While not mandatory, the vessel undergoes regular safety inspections by the United States Coast Guard, ensuring it meets and exceeds all safety standards for your peace of mind.
