From the very beginning, he has had a deep enthusiasm for offshore fishing, starting his career working on party boats in the Destin area. After graduating high school, he dedicated several years to commercial fishing across the Gulf of Mexico. By age 21, Captain Matthew earned his 100-ton USCG Captain’s license and took command of a 65-foot party boat operating out of Destin. Following a year in this role, he returned to the commercial fishing sector, where he remained active for nearly a decade.
In 2011, Captain Matthew transitioned to leading a private sportfishing charter, quickly gaining recognition for his skill in landing billfish and deepwater species such as Snapper and Grouper. Known for his calm and composed demeanor, Captain Matthew is excited to welcome you, your family, and friends aboard for a memorable fishing adventure. He is also flexible with pick-up locations to accommodate your plans.

You can cancel at no cost up to 7 days prior to your scheduled trip and get a credit added to your account. If you cancel within 7 days of the trip, the deposit paid to the guide will not be refunded. Cancellations on the day of the trip or failure to show up will result in the full trip amount being charged to your card.

Powered by twin Cummins QSM-11 engines generating over 1,200 horsepower combined, the boat cruises just under 30 knots for swift and smooth travel.
This well-equipped boat boasts a comprehensive range of amenities. Inside, you'll find a fully equipped restroom, a galley lounge, and air-conditioned cabins furnished with bunk beds for comfort. On deck, the boat is outfitted with outriggers, downriggers, tuna tubes, live wells, a fighting chair, and a full assortment of rods, reels, and tackle to enhance your fishing efforts.
All necessary bait and fishing licenses are provided by Captain Matthew. Guests should bring their own food, beverages, and a cooler to store their catch of the day.
