Captain Nick hails from Rome, Georgia, where he spent his childhood and completed his education at Rome High School. After graduation, he became a member of the Electrical Union in Atlanta and successfully finished a rigorous five-year apprenticeship, following in the footsteps of two previous generations of electricians in his family. His career rapidly advanced from hands-on electrical work to a leadership role in Electrical Construction Management. Despite his success, Nick felt drawn to something more fulfilling.
From a young age, Nick was captivated by the Emerald Coast—a place that always held a special place in his heart. Realizing life was moving quickly, he made the bold decision to relocate permanently, embarking on the six-hour journey south. Ready for a new adventure, he obtained his Captain’s license, acquired a boat, and began to share his love for the area with others.
As a licensed Captain with the U.S. Coast Guard, Captain Nick holds all the necessary permits to offer safe and enjoyable outings on the water. His vessel, a 2004 Cape Horn 22 Bay series powered by a Yamaha 225 Four Stroke engine, is perfectly suited for both inshore and offshore excursions. Whether fishing the flats of Choctawhatchee Bay or venturing into the Gulf of Mexico, he aims to maximize your time on the water by guiding you swiftly to the best fishing spots.
