From his early days working the docks at Gilberts Resort Marina in Key Largo to experience in both commercial and charter fishing along Central Florida’s East and West coasts, his knowledge of the waters is extensive. Prior to dedicating himself fully to charter fishing, Captain Mike served as a professional firefighter in Orlando, FL. Alongside his firefighting career, he also engaged in commercial fishing and spearfishing in the region’s coastal waters. Your guide can accommodate flexible starting points for your trip. You can cancel your booking without any charges if done at least three days prior to your trip, and the amount will be refunded to your account as credit. Cancellations made less than three days before the trip will result in the loss of your deposit, which is payable to the guide. If you cancel on the day of the trip or do not show up, the full trip cost will be billed to your card.

Your adventure begins aboard his 21-foot custom skiff, expertly designed for navigating shallow waters and secluded backcountry locations. This flats boat has been upgraded specifically for night fishing, featuring custom lighting, a quiet inverter generator, and a trolling motor. It comfortably fits up to four guests, making it an ideal trip to enjoy with friends or family.
During the trip, you'll target prime nocturnal species like Flounder, Sheepshead, and Black Drum. Using gigs, which do not allow fish to be released unharmed, you'll be able to keep your catch. Since marina cleaning services won't be available late at night, it’s recommended to bring along a cooler and plan to clean your fish the following day.
Captain Michael equips you with high-quality Cosson stainless gigs tipped with hardened cobalt, as well as specialized fishing bows. Feel free to bring along your favorite snacks and drinks to keep you fueled throughout the outing. Keep in mind, temperatures can drop during fall and winter, so dress accordingly to stay warm.
