Captain Caleb has been leading coastal fishing adventures in the Coastal Bend area for several years. He focuses on Speckled Trout and Redfish during the spring and summer seasons, then shifts his attention to duck hunting and preparing for the upcoming season in the fall and winter. Throughout the year, he continues to offer fishing trips and enjoys combining fishing with occasional hunting excursions.
Captain Caleb was both professional and accommodating. He took my son, who was visiting from Washington, on a trip that turned out to be incredibly enjoyable for both of us. From the start, Captain Caleb skillfully guided us to catch fish and stayed ahead of our needs by assisting with casting, baiting hooks, and expertly netting our catches.
Our 11-year-old grandson specifically chose this expedition because he had never experienced saltwater fishing before. It quickly became the highlight of our visit to Corpus. Captain Caleb showed great patience and also shared valuable tips that enhanced our overall trip. We truly appreciated the entire experience and had a wonderful time!

Embark on a thrilling half-day excursion with Captain Caleb and explore the abundant fishing opportunities in the waters of Corpus Christi, Texas. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced angler, Captain Caleb will expertly guide you throughout the trip!
The experience varies with the seasons: during the summer, Captain Caleb focuses on the grassy bay areas, either from the boat or by wading, targeting speckled trout and redfish. In contrast, the winter and spring months are dedicated to drifting over rock piles and flats using shrimp and popping corks to catch Black Drum, Flounder, Redfish, Sheepshead, and Speckled Trout.
Captain Caleb operates a 23-foot Shoalwater center console equipped with a trolling motor, ideal for quietly approaching cautious fish. The boat comfortably seats four anglers, with space for a fifth guest if needed, so bring along your favorite fishing partners!
Fishing techniques vary depending on the day and target species. Captain Caleb skillfully uses live bait, artificials, drifting over shell bottoms, and fishing in backwaters to maximize your chances of a great catch.
Don’t forget your valid Texas fishing license, sunglasses, snacks, drinks, and an ice chest for storing your catch. Captain Caleb will provide everything else necessary for an enjoyable and productive day on the water.
