You can cancel your booking without any charges up to three days prior to your scheduled trip and get a credit refunded to your account. If you cancel within three days of the trip, your deposit will be retained by the guide. Cancellations made on the day of the trip or if you do not show up will result in a full charge to your payment method.
Bring along snacks and beverages, a rain jacket or other weather-appropriate clothing, hats, polarized sunglasses, sunscreen, a camera, and a cooler to store your catch for the trip home.
A Nearshore adventure provides several exciting opportunities, including fishing in the Chesapeake Bay or from the Bay Bridge Tunnel to the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay. Anglers can target species such as Striped Bass (Rockfish), Flounder, Croaker, Spot, Red Drum, Cobia, Sheepshead, Spadefish, and Shark.
Another popular destination is the Chesapeake Light Tower, located 14 miles from Rudee Inlet. Here, you can fish for Black Sea Bass, Tautog, Sheepshead, Cobia, Flounder, and Spadefish. Spadefish offer an especially thrilling challenge, known for their impressive fight relative to their size when caught on light tackle.
Additionally, nearshore wrecks along the Virginia Beach coastline, situated up to 25 miles from Rudee Inlet, are perfect spots to target Black Sea Bass, Spadefish, Flounder, Triggerfish, Tautog, and Shark. These wrecks provide excellent fishing grounds and a chance to fill your cooler with a diverse catch after a rewarding day at sea.
