In 1976, my journey began when I was stationed in Everett, Washington as the Navigator on the USS Moctobi, well before the current Naval base was established. I first ventured into recreational fishing in Puget Sound in 1980. Approximately fifteen years ago, I transitioned into professional fishing. After spending a couple of seasons fishing in Sitka, Alaska, I returned to Puget Sound to work as a Captain on someone else’s boat. Eventually, I purchased my own charter boat and launched my own fishing charter business. In 2019, I upgraded to a custom-built 29-foot Alaska Style Cabin boat from North River, equipped with twin Suzuki 300 engines. The vessel and the business proudly bear the name of my beloved dog, Ruby. We offer flexible departure locations to better suit your needs. It was an incredible experience, and we were grateful for every moment! Our group of six anglers landed over 16 fish—a truly fantastic day!

The fishing seasons are governed by the Department of Fish and Wildlife, which determines the species available. From April through September, you can expect excellent salmon fishing, with Lingcod opportunities specifically from May 1st to June 15th. Our morning excursions last 6 hours, departing and returning to the dock. If we reach our catch limit early, the trip may conclude ahead of schedule.
We use trolling, the most effective technique for catching salmon, to maximize your success on the water. Our boat offers a combination of speed and comfort, featuring a private restroom for your convenience. Additionally, the cabin is heated to ensure a pleasant experience regardless of the weather.
