Joey discovered his love for fishing early on, learning from his father and grandfather. At the young age of 15, he was hired as an independent mate on a renowned fishing charter boat in Destin Harbor, one of the youngest ever to hold the position. By 18, Joey earned his 100 Ton Captain License. After captaining several vessels, he launched his own charter fishing business in 2013. Introducing my sons to bay fishing was an unforgettable experience, thanks to Captain Melissa. She was well-prepared, patient, and great with the kids. We enjoyed spotting a variety of marine life and shooting many arrows. Though the bigger fish were scarce, the outing was still memorable. The boat was well-equipped with everything needed for a successful excursion.

As first-timers at bowfishing, our group left feeling disappointed due to a guide who seemed inexperienced and rushed. While we understand success is never guaranteed, the priority felt more about wrapping up quickly than providing a quality experience. That said, we appreciate the efforts and are hopeful for better future outings.

Unfortunately, we had a negative experience with a captain who was rude and impatient, especially when some minor mishaps occurred. The guide was unhelpful and seemed more interested in preparing bait than helping us enjoy the trip, which felt like a waste of our charter time. We recommend seeking a more professional crew elsewhere.

You can cancel your booking free of charge if done at least 10 days prior to your trip and the amount will be refunded to your account. If you cancel within 10 days before the trip starts, your deposit will be retained by the guide. Cancellations made on the day of the trip or failure to show up will result in the full trip cost being charged to your payment method.
