His offshore fishing journey began in high school alongside his father, sparking a lifelong passion. He earned his Captain’s License back in the 1990s and has been running fishing charters ever since. For him, guiding trips is not just a job—it’s something he genuinely loves doing.
Born and raised in St. Marys, Georgia, Captain James has helped many anglers achieve their personal best catches across a variety of species. He especially enjoys trolling for aggressive fish and is skilled at locating quality bottom fish as well. After gathering baitfish near the St. Marys jetties, they set out trolling. Although other boats didn’t find luck with the elusive kings that day, Captain James took the group to a prime snapper spot, where every drop resulted in a catch. You can cancel without any charge if you do so at least 3 days prior to your scheduled trip, and the amount will be credited back to your account. If you cancel less than 3 days before the trip, the deposit will be non-refundable and paid to the guide. Cancellations on the day of the trip or if you fail to show up will result in the full trip cost being charged to your card.
You can choose any food and drinks you like. Bring a cooler to take home your catch. All tackle, bait, licenses, and drinking water will be supplied.
