You can cancel free of charge if done at least 7 days prior to your trip, and the amount will be credited back to your account. If you cancel less than 7 days before your trip, your deposit will be retained by the guide. Cancelling on the day of the trip or failing to show up will result in the full trip cost being charged to your payment method.
You are welcome to bring an ice chest and store it in your car. This way, once we return, you can properly preserve your catch for the journey home.
Experience a truly unique fishing adventure with our Catalina trips. Your journey begins as we gather live bait from the receiver before heading out to fish around the island. With over 30 years of experience navigating these waters, I use my deep knowledge of the island and current conditions to select the best fishing spots. Depending on the season, our primary targets include yellowtail, white seabass, halibut, calico bass, bonito, and barracuda. During the off-season, we focus on halibut, white seabass, rockfish, sheephead, and whitefish.
In the summer months, be prepared for exciting encounters with kelp paddy dorado, yellowtail, yellowfin tuna, and bluefin tuna as we travel to and from the island. I always take the opportunity to stop and try to hook these surprises, which happen more often than you might expect.
