You can cancel at no cost up to 7 days prior to your scheduled trip and the amount will be credited back to your account. If you cancel within 7 days of the trip, your deposit will be retained by the guide. Cancellations on the day of the trip or failure to show up will result in the full trip price being charged to your payment method.
All rods, reels, and tackle are provided. However, we suggest bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and any personal gear you wish to use during the trip.
Eager to start reeling in fish even before the summer heat arrives? Try something different and join Jim for an exciting ice fishing adventure! On one of Michigan’s many inland lakes, you’ll be drilling holes through the ice and patiently waiting for a catch. You could hook Trout, Pike, Perch, Burbot, or Walleye—freshwater fish that might be less active in winter but remain just as delicious.
Jim will take care of cleaning and bagging your fish, which is a huge bonus since these species are truly flavorful. This outing is perfect for large groups, making it a great activity for family and friends. Be sure everyone dresses warmly—you’ll want to avoid getting cold. Although a shelter will be set up to provide some warmth, packing thick layers and cozy socks is essential.
All the fishing gear, including rods, reels, bait, and tackle, will be supplied by Jim, so you don’t need to bring any equipment. However, feel free to bring snacks and drinks to keep your energy up during this half-day trip.
