With a lifetime dedicated to fishing throughout Central and Eastern North Carolina, I have extensive experience in both recreational and commercial angling, spanning freshwater and saltwater environments. Operating from the Sneads Ferry and Topsail Island region, I have been guiding fishing enthusiasts full-time for more than ten years. In my free time, I actively participate in various Redfish tournaments, competing from North Carolina to Louisiana. Free cancellation is available if you notify us at least 14 days prior to your trip, and you will be credited the amount back to your account. If you cancel less than 14 days before the trip, your deposit will be non-refundable and paid to the guide. Cancelling on the day of the trip or failing to show up will result in a charge of the full trip cost to your payment method.
All necessary gear will be provided. However, we suggest bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, clothing suitable for the weather, and any personal equipment you'd like to use during the trip.
A half-day fishing trip typically lasts between 4 to 5 hours, while a full-day excursion can extend from 6 to 8 hours, depending largely on the fishing conditions and weather. Departure points vary, as we choose different boat ramps based on fish availability and current weather patterns. Our gear includes Shimano Stradic, Vanford, and Sustain reels from the 2500 and 3000 series, all paired with medium (M) and medium-light (ML) custom rods. During the trips, we use a selection of artificial lures to entice catches. Additionally, when targeting species like black drum and flounder, we incorporate bait fishing into our techniques.
