With an impressive background spanning over 47 years, Captain John brings a wealth of experience to every fishing adventure. After serving in the Marines, he ventured into the fishing industry by establishing his own charter business, where he has been successfully guiding clients for more than two decades. Initially passionate about Bass fishing, Captain John's enthusiasm evolved into a deep love for saltwater species. For him, there’s nothing quite like reeling in a huge Snook from the mangroves or pursuing Redfish across the flats. His lifelong fascination began with a memorable catch of a 30-pound bull Redfish, his very first saltwater fish.
Captain John takes great pleasure in sharing his expertise with friends and guests, ensuring they have an unforgettable experience on the water. Flexibility with your departure point is one of the many advantages of booking a trip with him. Our group had an incredible outing with Captain John, exploring various spots while enjoying fantastic fishing luck. My wife and grandson especially enjoyed listening to his stories and advice, which helped them reel in numerous fish.
During a three-person saltwater fishing excursion in Tampa Bay, Captain John greeted us promptly and efficiently. He clearly outlined the day’s plan and offered helpful tips to boost our chances of success. Despite the intense heat and calm conditions—situations where other captains might have called it quits—Captain John persisted, extending our time on the water by an additional three hours. His commitment to making the trip enjoyable truly stood out, and it was a rewarding experience for everyone involved. We are already looking forward to booking more outings with him soon.
