With seven years of captain licensing under his belt, Captain Grey's passion for the water began when he was just five years old. By fourteen, he had purchased his very first boat. Growing up in New Bern, NC, he spent much of his youth navigating the nearby waters. Throughout college, he frequently visited his family's vacation property in Hyde County, NC, taking advantage of the abundant fishing and waterfowl opportunities the area offered. Starting his career as a professional guide at sixteen, Captain Grey has gained extensive experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds. Captain Grey conducts his excursions aboard a 25-foot Downeaster, perfectly suited for navigating shallow inshore waters. The abundant grass beds attract crabs, shrimp, and other prey that big Reds feed on, providing excellent opportunities to hook a record-sized fish. The boat is equipped with a Suzuki 300 HP outboard engine, an iPilot Trolling Motor, twin 10-foot Power Pole Blades, a Garmin 126 unit, and multiple live wells to keep your catch fresh throughout the trip.
