Captain Dave is the proud owner, operator, and captain of the vessel. He holds a United States Coast Guard Master Captain certification, which he earned through the Maritime Institute in San Diego, California. Originally from the North Fork, Captain Dave has been navigating the waters of Long Island’s East End for more than two decades. His extensive boating career spans across various regions of the country—from the Pacific Ocean near Southern California’s coast to the Gulf of Mexico along Alabama and Florida—yet he has always felt a strong connection to his hometown waters. After serving in the United States Marine Corps, Captain Dave fulfilled his dream of launching a charter business on the North Fork. Driven by a deep passion for fishing and the sea, he enjoys spending his leisure moments catching fish and sharing quality time with his family.

You can cancel without any charges if you do so at least 14 days prior to the trip, and the amount will be credited back to your account. If you cancel less than 14 days before the trip, your deposit will be non-refundable and retained by the guide. Cancellations on the day of the trip or failing to show up will result in the full trip cost being billed to your card.
