After retiring from the Army, Captain Jeff began offering fishing excursions to clients. Although he has held a fishing license since 2015, fishing has been a lifelong passion. He enjoys leading fishing trips because, beyond the thrill of fishing itself, they provide a great chance to connect with new people. Captain Jeff has also taken part in various veteran-focused local tournaments, including events like Fallen Outdoors and Black & Gold.

Sturgeon can grow over six feet long and weigh more than 200 pounds, and they’re known for powerful runs that can strip line from your reel while remaining submerged, fiercely resisting capture.
Fishing takes place aboard Captain Jeff’s 26-foot Alumaweld boat, powered by a 200-HP Mercury outboard motor, ensuring a smooth ride to the best spots. The boat features a live well to keep bait fresh and is equipped with advanced electronics to help locate fish effectively. Captain Jeff provides all necessary gear, including rods, reels, and tackle—you just need to bring sunscreen, your Oregon fishing license, and appropriate clothing.
