We had an incredible day with Captain Greg and Deckhand Ali. Even with some choppy waters and stronger winds, Greg found prime fishing spots for our half-day excursion. Both shared fascinating knowledge about the Gulf's marine life and even showed us crab traps, explaining the ecosystem’s balance. An added delight was the marina restaurant where Greg filleted our catch while the friendly staff cooked and served tacos. We’ll definitely be back to fish with Captain Greg and Ali again!
The entire group had a fantastic time on our fishing adventure. We caught plenty of fish to take home. The deckhand was attentive and helped us keep the action going. Captain Greg provided cold water, a restroom onboard, and took care of cleaning all our catches. Though my daughter and I felt a bit seasick, it didn’t overshadow the enjoyment we had throughout the day.
Captain Greg was an excellent guide, ensuring everyone had a blast and was well informed. We had nonstop action, catching lots of fish, including 7 to 8 large Amberjacks! On our way back, we even spotted a mako shark. The smaller fish caught tasted fantastic when blackened for tacos. Truly a memorable experience with a top-notch captain and first mate!

While fishing on its reefs, wrecks, and ledges, you’ll encounter impressive species such as Black, Red, Scamp, Gag, and Goliath Grouper. Alongside these prized bottomfish, you’ll find excellent opportunities to catch Gray Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Red Snapper, Amberjack, and Triggerfish—all known for their delicious taste. At the end of your adventure, Captain Greg will gladly clean your catch, making it ready for your table.
For those who prefer surface trolling, the waters abound with King Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Spanish Mackerel, Barracuda, and even Sharks. These fast-moving species offer an exciting challenge suitable for anglers of all skill levels.
You’ll be fishing from a 32′ Sabalo sportfisher designed in the classic “Down East Cruiser” style. The boat features 15 feet of open fishing deck with 11 rod holders encircling the stern, giving you plenty of space to cast your line. Powered by a reliable 315-HP Cummins diesel engine and equipped with over 200 gallons of fuel capacity, she can safely take you 100 miles offshore and return with fuel to spare. Plus, with an ice capacity of 1800 lbs., there is ample space for your food, drinks, and, of course, your catch.
Comfort is a priority aboard this charter. The central engine box is cushioned with a 24-square-foot, 6-inch-thick seat, comfortably fitting six passengers. An additional fish box comes with a 4-inch thick cushion, seating two more.
