Additionally, Lake Erie offers fantastic smallmouth bass fishing during certain seasons; feel free to ask us when the best times are to target them. Our trips are family-friendly, and we provide child-sized life vests for those under 90 pounds, with additional options available upon request.
Your journey starts on a 28-foot Baha Cruisers walkaround, comfortably accommodating up to six adults. Equipped with the latest Garmin electronics and autopilot, the boat helps maintain the perfect position while you focus on landing your catch. Captain Dustin supplies rods, reels, and lures, so all you need to bring is a positive attitude and eagerness to learn. Before your outing, ensure everyone in your party has a valid local fishing license, which is typically available online or can be clarified by the captain. We recommend bringing sunblock (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses—water is provided on board. Moderate alcohol consumption is permitted; however, please avoid hard liquor and glass containers. Light snacks are offered to keep you energized throughout the day.

You can cancel without any fees if done at least 10 days prior to your trip and get a credit applied to your account. Cancelling less than 10 days before your trip will result in losing your deposit, which goes to the guide. If you cancel on the day of the trip or fail to show up, the full trip cost will be charged to your card.

This trip is perfect for families with young children or larger groups who may not have the time for a full day on the water. It’s also ideal for anyone looking to spend less time boating. Depending on the season, we can target either perch or walleye—just ask your captain which species is biting best right now. Typically, during spring, summer, and late fall, the focus is on walleye, while perch are most active in late summer and early fall. It’s not unusual to catch limits at certain times of the year on this trip.
We supply all the bait and tackle you’ll need, plus water and light snacks for everyone on board. Feel free to bring a small cooler with your preferred drinks. Remember to have a valid Ohio fishing license for all anglers. Let’s head out and catch some fish!
