Are you considering shark fishing in Ossabaw Sound? From April through October, the inshore and nearshore waters around Ossabaw Sound and the nearby ocean are alive with a wide range of shark species, providing thrilling action for anglers seeking an adrenaline-packed experience. Guided by David from Richmond Hill, these trips are designed to get you onto the fish quickly, whether you’re a novice or a seasoned fisherman.

You will fish aboard a 25-foot bay boat, perfectly equipped to navigate both shallow waters and near-ocean areas where sharks commonly appear. The trips frequently target species such as blacktip sharks, bonnethead sharks, hammerheads, nurse sharks, sandbar sharks, tiger sharks, and occasionally giant trevally. Depending on the conditions and your preferences, you’ll employ bottom fishing, light tackle, or heavy tackle techniques to connect with these powerful creatures.

The excursions last between four and eight hours and can be customized to suit your timing needs. They are family-friendly and welcome children, making them an excellent choice for group outings. David offers fish cleaning services for an additional charge, and you’re free to bring beer aboard—just be sure to avoid glass containers. Should the weather become unfavorable, your deposit will be fully refunded. Plus, with a federal permit onboard, there’s the option to venture farther offshore if the fish are schooling in deeper waters.

For an exciting, flexible shark fishing adventure in coastal Georgia, these trips provide everything you need for an unforgettable day on the water.
